Vinification method of Crémant d'Alsace Brut Rosé

The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. A light maceration of the Pinot Noir grapes gives this Crémant its subtle pink hue. After an initial fermentation in the vat, the wine is bottled and then, naturally, with the addition of the tirage liqueur, a second fermentation takes place in the bottle: this is the prise de mousse. This method, known as the "Méthode Traditionnelle", is combined with an ageing period of 15 to 18 months on laths.

Tasting notes of Crémant d'Alsace Brut Rosé

A beautiful, deep colour with pleasant salmon tones. A rosé with very flattering pastel tones. The effervescence is lively, with a regular, swirling stream of bubbles. The expressive nose is reminiscent of red berries (wild strawberries). On the palate, the aromas are confirmed: redcurrant brings fruitiness and refreshment. The well-balanced palate develops around a structure that is both supple and full-bodied, with a dominant impression of great delicacy.

Wine and food pairing with Crémant d'Alsace Brut Rosé

An aperitif wine par excellence, it can be drunk on any festive occasion, but is becoming increasingly important around a well-prepared table. It goes equally well with Mediterranean-style cocktails or red fruit-based delicacies such as soups, clafoutis or red and/or black fruit mousses.
